It has caused more genuine <i>anger</i> among denialists than any other single event. After all, when James Hansen publishes another paper in <i>Geophysical Research Letters</i>, the public doesn't notice -- but Al Gore has made this issue prominent for the average citizen. The degree of success of Gore's movie can be gauged by the degree of outrage expressed by his opponents. And boy, are they outraged! Good going, Al. What has surprised me is how many people reached my posts in an attempt to "debunk" the "myth" of An Inconvenient Truth.
