CAMS 223

I’m a Carleton College sophomore enrolled in CAMS 223. CAMS (Cinema and Media Studies) 223, or Participatory Media, is an introduction to the personal media revolution. Up until now my knowledge and usage of the Internet has remain at only the most basic levels. Most of the knowledge I have about different sites has been passed down to me by my friends. And the majority of this knowledge consists of where to find funny videos on the Internet. I am going to take this opportunity to use what we learn in CAMS 223 to rediscover the Internet and what it has to offer on my own. This blog will serve as a means with which to record what I learn about the Internet during the course of this CAMS class as well as a way to share this knowledge to fellow surfers of the Internet.
